The selection of the participants is of great importance to us.  We are looking for participants who are eager and able to contribute, are seeking an in-depth experience and are the right fit for the community and the program.

The application process to the Yahel Social Change Program involves the following:

1. 1. Submission of online application and payment of the application fee.

2. 2. Application for Masa scholarship, if eligible

3. 3. Phone interview

4. 4. Yahel staff phone conversations with references.

It is not possible to save your application and return to it at a later date. We suggest doing one of the following options: 

• Leave the application open in your browser window until you have finished filling out the questions, essays and health information
• Fill in the required information on the first page and then jump ahead to the essay questions. Return to the application when you are ready to fill it out in its entirety.  

You can pay the application fee ($100) online via paypal. If you prefer to pay by check, please send us an email.

The application fee will be fully refunded if you are not accepted to the program.  If you are accepted, the fee will be applied to your tuition and/or forfeited if you choose not to participate.
