
Emily Yale
Board Member
Emily Yale has over 10 years of experience global health programs funded by the US-Government and philanthropic donors implemented in sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia. Emily is currently the Director of Finance and Operations at the Center for Integration Science in Global Health Equity (CIS), where she manages 36 subcontracts in 24 countries. Prior to joining CIS, Emily was a Program Officer at John Snow, Inc. (JSI), managing projects focused on HIV/AIDs in East Africa, frequently traveling to field offices to train local staff on U.S. government contract compliance.
In 2012, Emily participated in the inaugural summer of Onward Israel, where she joined Yahel’s 6-week service learning program based in the Hadar neighborhood of Haifa. Emily has been involved in many organizations within the Boston Jewish Community and beyond, including co-chairing the Boston-Haifa Young Leaders Committee of Combined Jewish Philanthropy (CJP) and staffing six Birthright Israel Trips.
Emily holds an MPH in Global Health from Boston University School of Public Health and a BA in Human Services Studies from Elon University. Emily lives in Boston, MA with her husband and two young children.
