Jeremiah Rosenblatt

Wisconsin, USA

Originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Jeremiah brings a unique multicultural perspective to Yahel as someone raised in both Jewish and Taiwanese American traditions. A 2022 graduate of Shorewood High School, he has cultivated extensive experience in community engagement and social justice work through organizations like the Urban Ecology Center and Teens Grow Green, where he focused on supporting disadvantaged communities and environmental initiatives.

Jeremiah's passion for cross-cultural connection has taken him across the globe, from volunteering at hostels in Turkey and Greece to teaching English through international programs. As a musician with particular interest in Anatolian and Mediterranean folk music, he sees music as a powerful bridge between cultures and communities.

His recent volunteer experience at a farm in northern Israel, where he lived and worked alongside both Arab and Jewish community members, deepened his appreciation for the region's complexity and reinforced his commitment to peace and coexistence.

Jeremiah is eager to contribute his community-building skills and multicultural perspective to meaningful social change work in Israel.

Wondering what a day in the life of a fellow looks like?
