Abby Davis
Idaho, USA
After volunteering with Yahel during a transformative day trip through Passages, Abby knew she had to return. She's thrilled to immerse herself in Israeli communities, support Yahel's partner organizations, advance her Hebrew skills, and build lasting relationships.
Abby graduated with degrees in Greek and Art, plus Biblical Hebrew studies. Her passion for languages and fascination with Israel's history and culture drive her commitment to meaningful cross-cultural engagement.
Planning to attend law school as a future prosecutor or public defender, Abby is focused on learning how government agencies, nonprofits, and volunteers collaborate to serve communities. She views her Yahel fellowship as essential preparation, providing insight into community-based social change that will inform her legal advocacy.
When not volunteering or studying, you'll find Abby conquering ultramarathons, reading Dostoevsky, or at trivia nights with friends. While she'll miss hiking in the Pacific Northwest, she's eager to discover new adventures across Israel.
