Dylan Selby
London, UK
Dylan was born and raised in East London and Essex and has spent the past five years working in British politics. He began his career as a Parliamentary Intern before working for the former UK Health Secretary and later becoming a Political Press Officer for one of Britain's major political parties, where he led communications across a wide range of policy areas.
Following a pilgrimage to Jerusalem with his grandmother, Dylan experienced a renewed connection to his Jewish heritage and felt inspired to step away from political communications and return to hands-on service. He joined the Yahel Social Change Fellowship to immerse himself in Israeli society, contribute meaningfully to local communities, and gain a deeper understanding of the people and places that make up modern Israel.
Outside of work, Dylan is a die-hard West Ham United supporter and proud season ticket holder. He enjoys running, exploring new places, and is looking forward to embracing everything that life in Israel has to offer while building lasting friendships with his fellow volunteers.
