Originally from Melbourne, Australia, Gavriella holds a Bachelor of Oral Health and has spent the past four years working as an Oral Health Therapist in both private and community dental clinics. Passionate about improving health outcomes and building meaningful relationships, she enjoys working with people of all ages and believes that trust and connection are at the heart of effective healthcare.
Gavriella first visited Israel on Birthright in 2023 before returning to volunteer in Tel Aviv with Masa in 2025. Although that experience was unexpectedly shaped by the outbreak of the Iran-Israel conflict, the resilience she witnessed, the friendships she formed, and the sense of community she experienced strengthened her connection to the country and inspired her to return in a more meaningful capacity.
Through the Yahel Social Change Fellowship, Gavriella is excited to immerse herself in Israeli communities, contribute to grassroots social initiatives, and better understand the challenges and strengths of Israeli society from a local perspective. She hopes to deepen her Hebrew, learn from the diverse people she meets, and carry those lessons into both her professional and personal life.
When she's not in the clinic, you'll find Gavriella at the gym, out for a run, skateboarding, or DJing an event. She looks forward to embracing new experiences and making Israel her home for the coming year.
