
Kae Goldstein
Born in Boston and raised across multiple cities, Kae brings unique perspectives shaped by diverse experiences and deep academic expertise. After taking a transformative gap year in Israel, they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and Hebrew from Emory University, where they focused their studies on Ethiopian Jewish communities.
Kae has worked intimately with the Beta Israel community, volunteering with multiple nonprofits and organizations throughout Israel while conducting academic research at Emory. Their senior honors thesis examined the next generation of Ethiopian Jews in Israel, reflecting their commitment to studies on the Etheopian Jewish community.
As a Black Jew with extensive knowledge of the region through lived experience and academic study, Kae brings a distinctive perspective to community engagement. They're passionate about building bridges between diverse communities and creating meaningful change that uplifts all residents of the land.
Through their Yahel fellowship, Kae hopes to continue the vital work they've begun, combining their research insights with hands-on community service to make lasting impact.
