Noa Chesal
Florida, USA
Noa is a 23-year-old from South Florida whose connection to Israel began during her junior year of high school, when she spent six months studying at Alexander Muss High School in Israel. That experience became one of the most meaningful of her life - and ever since, she has known she would return, this time not as a visitor, but as a genuine part of a community.
Warm, outgoing and naturally drawn to people, Noa has spent years working as a nanny and carer for children from infancy through age 12, as well as working with people with disabilities. Those experiences have shaped her approach to people: patient, empathetic, and deeply committed to making others feel included and valued.
Through the Yahel Fellowship, Noa is excited to give back, challenge herself, and experience everyday Israeli life from the inside. She hopes to bring her energy, positivity and genuine love of connection to her placements and to the wider Yahel community.
Outside of volunteering, you'll find Noa exploring new places, spending time outdoors, or - most likely - singing karaoke with friends.
