Odeya Jablonski
Melbourne, Australia
Born and raised in Melbourne, Australia, within a Jewish community largely shaped by descendants of Holocaust survivors, Odeya's connection to her heritage and to Israel was formed early. Growing up speaking Hebrew and attending a Jewish day school gave her a deep grounding in Jewish history, culture and communal life.
Professionally, Odeya brings over a decade of experience as a carer, working with children and adults with additional needs across childhood development, disability support and care work. She is also a keen artist and passionate advocate for therapeutic care — having witnessed firsthand the transformative power of creativity in fostering connection, healing and personal growth.
Through the Yahel Fellowship, Odeya hopes to contribute meaningfully to Israeli society while deepening her connection to the people, culture and land of Israel. She is excited to bring her experience to local communities and build lasting relationships through service, learning and cultural exchange.
