Rebeka Kubik

Beka is a recent International Business Economics graduate from Hungary who has spent much of her university years deeply embedded in Jewish communal life. As a leader in Hanoar Hatzioni Hungary, she has worked with young people, organized educational programs, and helped build a strong and welcoming community - developing a natural instinct for bringing people together around shared purpose.

A fixture at Camp Szarvas for the past decade — first as a participant and later in leadership roles - Szarvas has become one of the formative experiences of her life, shaping her values around community, Jewish identity and the power of informal education.

Beka is drawn to the Yahel Social Change Fellowship as an opportunity to take those values and put them to work in a new context. She is excited to engage with Israeli society up close, contribute meaningfully to the communities she will be part of, and deepen her understanding of the country and its people.

Outside of community work, Beka loves travelling, discovering new places and learning from the people she meets along the way - believing firmly that some of the best education happens through human connection.
