Avigayil Schwartz
Central Hub Manager
Born in New York, Avigayil made Aliyah with her parents as a young child and grew up in Karnei Shomron. She served doing National Service in Jerusalem with new Olim, and has worked at various informal education positions, leading educational tourism groups across Israel for several years. She has been involved in many different roles, from social counseling to participants of all ages to coordinating logistics on many levels. She has managed volunteering for other nonprofits as well, which holds a special place in her heart. She also spent time doing agricultural work for farmers across Israel.
She is passionate about the environment, and is always trying to discover more sustainable ways and approaches that can potentially work for a better future. She loves sparking conversation and bridging between people from different cultures and backgrounds.
Her other passions include grounding in nature and discovering new places and ideas. Her interest in such led her to study Permaculture, and eventually to get her B.Sc. in Soil and Water Science and Agronomy at The Faculty of Agriculture in Rehovot.
