Betty Soibel

Betty is a professional Jewish educator and tour guide, passionate about nuanced Israel education and fostering creative community spaces. She is especially excited to join the team as Jerusalem Community Manager—as an alum of the Yahel Social Change Fellowship, returning to Yahel means coming back to where her Israel journey began. She looks forward to bringing all she has learned since to the organization she calls home. With a background in Jewish history and experiential education, Betty loves creating deep, thoughtful educational experiences. She lives in Nachlaot, Jerusalem, with her rescue pup, Jamila, and an ever-rotating cast of foster kittens.
