Ravit Shimshon
Southern Hub Manager
Ravit was born in Tidhar, a small agricultural village in the western Negev. She deepened her connection to the desert region during her time as a gap year participant in Nitzana. As a teenager she has participated in delegations to Jewish communities abroad, nurturing her belief in the importance of strong global Jewish connections. At the core of her personal and professional path is a daily aspiration to pursue tikkun olam — repairing the world — in both private and public spheres.
Ravit coordinated the youth division of the Be’er Sheva–Bnei Shimon–Montreal Partnership of The Jewish Agency, as well as the alumni group of the Diller Teen Fellows program. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Education, Philosophy, History, and Political Science, and a Master’s degree in Public Policy and Administration. She has a deep connection to nature, a great love for people — and for food (especially Georgian cuisine).
