Shahar Tzafir

Shahar is our English IRL Program Coordinator for the North and Central regions.

She studied Education and Society with a specialization in Sports at Ono Academic College. She lives in Kiryat Ata with her husband and their dog.

Shahar brings extensive experience in education and working with youth. She served as an Education NCO in the IDF and has worked in schools as a learning support instructor for students facing academic challenges, including youth at risk. She has also worked as a private tutor and Pilates instructor.

Shahar joined Yahel because she strongly believes in the values of the English IRL program. Through her experience in schools, she has seen firsthand the challenges students face when speaking English. She believes the program can help students build confidence, communication skills, and abilities that will support them throughout their lives.
